Most of us however take our breath for granted. Breath work may be the simplest and most effective method of regaining health & healing. This is because breathing is something that everyone does. It is not a question of whether we do it, but how we do it. Breathing is really the most accessible source of creating and sustaining our vital energy. Proper breathing not only improves physical functions, but it acts as a pathway inward, a bridge between the body and the mind

Pranayama is the yogic science of balancing and regulating vital energy or prana through the skilful manipulation of breath. Pranayama has gained popularity and many do it regularly and diligently as a healing breathing exercise. Quite many are not really aware of the errors they are doing unknowingly.

When we do pranayama, prana or the vital life force abundantly flows into us through our breaths. It gets transformed into various powers in the body to carry out the different internal and external functions.
