Yoga is a self experiencing science, a holistic
way of living, a systematic conscious process to
integrate and develop all the aspects of the human

and spiritual. The purpose of yoga is to establish
harmony between body and mind which leads to healthy
and disease free life.
The journey to Yoga, begins with the physical aspect but
under a good teacher, it takes the practitioner towards
the subtler aspects. Asanas not only stretch but also
open the energy channels of the body. They purify and
strengthen the body and help control & focus the mind.
As a result the life force, the energy, gets channelised,
activating different faculties and components of the human
body and mind, thus leading to a heightened state of creativity,
expression, vitality and confidence.
